Amends the Alberta Investment Attraction Act to shift authority over board director resignations from the board chair to the Minister and removes the Deputy Minister's right to attend board meetings.
What changed

- Repeals provisions related to the Chair's resignation process (s. 1(3)(b)).
- Removes the Deputy Minister's right to receive notice of and attend board meetings (s. 1(3)(c)).
Why it matters

- Reduces the oversight and involvement of the Deputy Minister in the board's operations.
